Facility for Confocal Imaging (CIF)

Using confocal microscopy, researchers can view a wide range of materials, including monolayers, tiny creatures like developing fly and fish embryos, and extremely thick slices from the tissues of the brain and other organs.

The lab has also updated several workstations with software programs for image processing, analysis, and 3D image reconstruction.
